Software Development Engineer
We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about creating state-of-the-art media production applications using their excellent JavaScript and C skills. Ideally you have a background in digital video and audio technologies and the ability to learn quickly, and an interest in developing and shipping high quality, amazing software. The ability to work closely with other team members and networking with key domain contacts outside your own area of expertise are key success skills for the position.
Sony Creative Software is located in Middleton, WI, 15 minutes from downtown Madison.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science orEngineering (or equivalent) is required
1-3 years of related experience is required
Experience with JavaScript and/or C required
Must understand object oriented design anddevelopment
Experience with Windows or macOS X GUIapplication development, multi-threading, STL data structures and algorithmsall a plus
Experience with Visual Studio, Xcode, Git,defect tracking systems, and scripting languages such as Python a plus
Experience in unit test development as part ofsoftware development a plus
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely toall levels within the organization in both verbal and written forms
