Material Handler - LEVEL 2

Position: Material Handler 2
Perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items. Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment. Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
Essential Functions:
o Functional
o Receive, consolidate and put parts-away. Perform data entry, pick job parts, handle parts shortages, perform cycle count, and complete shipping picks.
o Count, calculate and locate parts.
o Complete forms, transactions, and documents as necessary.
o Working knowledge of Syteline and RF scanning equipment.
o Operate material handling equipment to move materials within the facility. Utilize all other powered, automated, and non-powered material handling equipment as necessary.
o Able to use ladder and work platforms.
o Handling of ESD materials.
o Deliver parts and product to various locations in the Mequon campus.
o Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of small hand tools.
o Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
o Ability to set priorities and work independently.
o Ability to lift and move heavy objects with or without accomodation.
o Ability to operate moving and lift equipment and climb tall ladders.
o Operate forktruck, pallet jack, cherry pickers, RF Scanners and other machinery and hand tools.
o May perform other duties as assigned.
o Leadership
o Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regualtions (state/federal laws, ISO9001, ISO14000, etc.) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.
o Responsible for implementation and compliance with team decisions
o Identify potential roadblocks to team goals, propose solutions and resources needed, to the team, coach, or management.
o Interpersonal
o Participate in team meetings, utilizing effective communication skills to work through difficult matters.
o Take daily direction for job duties and assignments from department team lead.

o Assist, and be responsive to the needs of teams and team members as well as other individuals, in the pursuit of the company's goals.
o Ensure thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network.
o High school diploma or GED required.
o Requires certification to operate a fork lift riding power truck.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
