Agency Administrative Assistant

Provides support to the Madison Agency Office and Manager by performing tasks related to sales efforts through that office. Duties include customer service by telephone, written correspondence in letter/memo form and electronically. Provides a variety of clerical support including filing, data entry, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and working with the Home Office.
Must be organized, detail orientated, motivated, energetic, proactive, dependable; good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; good math skills; Should also be a self-starter who has good listening skills, is able to multi-task, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has good planning and organizational skills, and is able to work independently. High School diploma or equivalent needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
