WK Construction Co., Inc. is a small highway construction contractor. We specialize in Cold in Place Recycling of asphalt pavement, Pulverizing of asphalt pavements, Milling of asphalt and concrete pavements and Stablizing of soils. We generally perform work in the states of Illinois, Iowa, Michigan (upper peninsula), Minnesota and Wisconsin. The majority of our work force is seasonal, working from May through October. Our highway crews are by and large union members in either the operators or laborers union. Whether they are full time or seasonal employees they have been with our firm for many years and we have a very low turnover with our work force. Project Estimator/Project Manager. Applicant should have a strong work ethic and a willingness to work long hours. Daily duties would include: quantity take-offs from plans, project estimating, project management and field crew management. A qualified applicant would be a person willing to spend time both in the office and in the field. Pre-employment drug testing required.
