Job Summary The Transportation Analyst is a center led global financial distribution and transportation role.
This position is responsible for continuous improvement efforts throughout the financial reporting and planning cycle.
This includes the production of ad hoc and reoccurring analytical financial reports and freight decision support for the Distribution and Transportation team.
The position will provide key financial support for major supply chain initiatives including the network optimization, KPI and TMS development.
Responsibilities also include activities analyzing, evaluating and defining root cause issues surrounding transportation expense.
Remote role! When we return to office, this role will have flexibility to work from home along with occasional travel.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Support regular financial performance reviews for transportation, warehousing, and purchasing by providing financial insight to trends, financial metrics, and develop proactive alternatives for improving results Identify and bring forward issues and areas of opportunity to provide visibility to trends on a proactive basis and leading analysis driving improvements Evaluate network optimization and develop cost-to-serve reporting to support cost, service, and efficiency objectives Drive continuous improvement across supply chain optimization tools and processes Contribute to the North America operations business plan and quarterly forecasts for the company through data gathering and consolidating various inputs from cross-functional teams Prepare and review monthly reporting results vs prior expectations with commentary of major business drivers (variance analysis vs PY, Plan, Forecast) Distribute regular occurring KPI reports and analytics to be shared with stakeholders Provide input to strategic decisions that affect Spectrum Brands Transportation, i.
e.
costs, performance, on quality, on time, and in full Analyze financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes Work with the operations team to develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and KPI reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis Supports analysis, planning and forecasting activities for strategic initiatives for current and future fiscal years Lead in-depth financial, variance, and trending analysis for KPIs used to build expense models in the business and drive analytical support Prepare monthly variance analysis on transactional level detail by account to find anomalies month over month in freight and warehouse cost buckets Prepare monthly trend analysis across supply chain metrics Education and Experience Profile Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field is required Minimum of three (3) years of experience in financial analysis, key performance indicators, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis is required Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI is required Previous financial experience in supply chain or transportation finance experience is required Required Skills Advanced Excel (i.
e.
, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
