RN Psych
Requirements:
- 72 beds 3-4 units open at any time Combination of adult and adolescent patients Freestanding psych facility- no security Codes are responded to by staff De-escalations and restraints are handled by staff if necessary.
Requires 1 year of psych hospital experience.
LTC is not Psych.
CPI Preferred- if not, will do onsite.
Orientation is 2 classroom days, 2 floor days if CPI certified If not CPI certified, orientation is 4 classroom days, 2 floor days 1:
10 Nurse to patient ratios.
Sometimes will have LPN or MT help, but not always.
RTO approved within reason, limited.
No holidays.
